Detail : This year's international symposium, will look at the management and logistics of elections, voter registration and voting methods, both traditional and using state of the art technology. The event will also focus on the procurement of materials in the electoral process, such as ballot papers, ballot boxes, polling booths, biometric solutions, security printing, electronic voting machines and electronic counting mechanisms. Best practice procedures, planning, contract management, and working with suppliers will also be examined. The symposium will also focus on the use of new and innovative technologies in elections and examine current trends, in terms of usage throughout the electoral process. In addition, the use and effect of new social media in the electoral process will be explored, covering voter education, turnout and results transmission. We will also look at internet voting security and the importance of transparent auditing of election technology.
